is another Chicagoland native from Downers Grove, IL. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine and is currently in his fourth year of residency and the Chief Resident. His interests are in hematopathology and cytopathology and he will be staying at Loyola for a hematopathology fellowship.
Mark likes to stay active outside of pathology with powerlifting and playing underwater hockey. His favorite sports are hockey and strongman. Mark also enjoys board games, trivia, and craft beer. He is a sucker for good Sci-Fi and his favorite movies are Star Wars Rogue One and The Martian and favorite shows are Futurama and Rick and Morty.
Mark chose Loyola because it offered him “a medium sized program with solid AP and CP training” and one thing that stood out to him “was the friendliness and welcoming personalities of the residents and attendings.”
