What motivated you to become a Pathologist?

Interest in science generally, since High School, leading to all of my degrees, my work as a research chemist and desire to matriculate to medical school,  as well as the subsequent medical training and certifications.  Fervent desire specifically to use Laboratory Medicine and Pathology to make a difference in patient care.

What do you love most about Loyola Pathology?

Collegiality among disciplines which provides the best multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving and patient care.

What is one thing people may not know about you?

I don't golf and never wanted to learn; I like to drive fast cars, and if I had time and world enough, I'd love to get a private pilot's license.
